North Carolinian artist Ronsocold's highly melodic Auto-Tuned rap style pair nicely with his detail-rich production and futuristic instrumentals. Along with winning new fans as the opening act on a Lil Tecca tour, Ronsocold moved swiftly from several mixtape releases to a self-titled debut studio album in 2020.
Ronsocold was born Aaron Gilmore in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1995. He began rapping around age 21, making some waves in Charlotte's vibrant rap scene with his early singles and 2018 mixtapes So Cold and 808s & Bullshit. Taking influence from rappers like Playboi Carti and Young Thug, Ronsocold developed a highly melodic vocal style, and put extra care and consideration into his instrumental choices. In 2019 he toured with Lil Tecca, exposing new legions of fans to his distinctive sound and personality. The next year Ronsocold released his first full-length studio album, a self-titled project with 15 songs and no features from any other artists.
