We're Royals, a pop punk band from the occasionally sunny south coast of the UK, who make modern pop punk with big hooks perfect for shouting at the top of your voice in sweaty rooms.
Since 2019, we’ve been on a mission to write music that hits like finishing work early on a Friday. Along the way, we’ve somehow racked up over a million streams, been championed by BBC Radio 1, Kerrang!, Idobi and Spotify playlists like <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DX1ewVhAJ17m4" data-name="Pop Punk's Not Dead">Pop Punk's Not Dead</a> and New Punk Tracks. Our second EP <a href="spotify:album:64Nw3wnM9B2KytKLx6Exed" data-name="A Spark To Ignite">A Spark To Ignite</a>, produced by <a href="spotify:artist:2TM0qnbJH4QPhGMCdPt7fH" data-name="Neck Deep">Neck Deep</a>'s Seb Barlow, led Alt Press to name us as one of the 'Top 10 Rising UK Pop Punk Bands' while <a href="spotify:album:1E0LANrX9FVJXi0ZTS5DMh" data-name="Let Me Go">Let Me Go</a> took us to within the final 10 of playing Download Festival.
Following a hectic schedule of touring, including sold out dates on our first headline tour and appearances alongside bands such as <a href="spotify:artist:0ofhRkasSdhp6LUs7tFcF7" data-name="WSTR">WSTR</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7Atp614yT56v9XrlqZryzX" data-name="As December Falls">As December Falls</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:0q74f5UdR3j14Lis4AKKxq" data-name="ROAM">ROAM</a>, we retreated into the studio not to figure out what's next for Royals, but to define it.
The band have stormed into 2025 with a stream of singles such as '<a href="spotify:album:0UAAVg2LZj8ZqJ6Guffhsp" data-name="Killer">Killer</a>', '<a href="spotify:track:5EKgSag8hofhPoKvPhszIy" data-name="Spinning Out">Spinning Out</a>', '<a href="spotify:album:5yil8SJtwrpJTLQCWIMXJw" data-name="Getaway">Getaway</a>' and their most popular song to date, "<a href="spotify:track:1SgaSCgBsBms6USs2JsOtU" data-name="Good For Me">Good For Me</a>' which featured Sammy Clifford of WSTR. New Royals is loud, catchy, and maybe a little bit too honest. If you’re into songs that feel like summer and heartbreak at the same time, you’re in the right place.
Let’s make some noise.
