Ruhaan79 is an Indian rapper and songwriter from Jaipur. His stage name reflects his artistic self, where the word ‘Ruhaan’ (meaning ‘soul’ in Hindi) represents his superego, and the numbers ‘7’ and ‘9’ symbolize individuality, uniqueness, and the patterns of the universe. He enjoys creating expressive, conscious, existential, self-reflective, and playful music, characterized by a blend of different genres and sounds which reflects in the versatility of his discography. His storytelling takes a unique form through the voices of his fictional characters, ‘Kaidi’ (intense and hard-hitting) and ‘Ruhaan’ (deep yet playful).
The rapper made his debut with the album Kaidi No. 79 (2019).
