Ry began as a three-piece band led by Terutaka Aritomi. After releasing "Ry 1st EP" and the first album "just passing through", the band started its activities under a new structure in 2020 with the support of Tetsuya Nakahara, who finished working with ROTH BART BARON on drums.
In the summer of 2023, their second album, "New Sun" produced during the Corona Disaster, was released under KiliKiliVilla.
