Ryan McCombe is one of New York City’s most exciting multi-instrumentalist Celtic musicians on the scene today. Raised in Yonkers, NY, Ryan absorbed Irish and Irish American music through the thriving New York Trad Scene, rising through the ranks as a Champion step dancer. Now a sought-after singer and guitarist on the New York City circuit, Ryan’s debut EP - My Side of the Ocean - is a modern take on classic songs with a guitar and banjo-forward drive, with Ryan on most of the instruments (guitar, vocals, tenor banjo, octave mandolin, bass, drums, bodhran, piano) and guest appearances from some of North America’s best trad musicians.
When he’s not playing tunes & singing, Ryan can be found adjudicating dancing or playing music all over North America for the Irish Dance circuit.
