Ryan Ofei is a Ghanaian Canadian Artist, whose vocation is to worship in spirit and truth. Although he started singing and writing songs at the age of 6, he spent the majority of his teenage years playing sports. At age 18, he made a pivotal decision to leave behind football scholarships to fulfill the call upon his life. Seven years later, Ryan emerged as an impactful songwriter and Worship Pastor for the Ottawa group, Campus Rush Music, ministering songs like “Yahweh” and “Ruler of Heaven”.
In 2019, Ryan released singles “No Limits” and “Jehova” in the lead up to his debut solo EP, David’s Heart released later that year. Following the project, Ryan ministered across the world performing in North America, Europe and Africa.
In 2021, Ryan joined the Atlanta-based movement, <a href="spotify:artist:58r1rB5t3VF5X6yXGPequV" data-name="Maverick City Music">Maverick City Music</a> as a songwriter. He also appeared on Maverick City Music albums <a href="spotify:album:2uqcxn7xhGvMIx7Kimhmr7" data-name="Tribl I">Tribl I</a> , <a href="spotify:album:2buPx1ebGCwCnxiX0RoJfD" data-name="Jubilee">Jubilee</a> and <a href="spotify:album:6wjcKFIUSu5mz1CcN7CcZH" data-name="Jubilee: Juneteenth Edition">Jubilee: Juneteenth Edition</a> . He later joined the group as they toured across the United States on the Welcome to Maverick City Tour. In 2023, Ryan won a GRAMMY with the group for Best Gospel Album “Kingdom Book One (Deluxe)”
Ryan released his debut solo album “Restore” in 2024 and went on to win a JUNO award for Contemporary/Gospel Christian Album of the Year.
