Saint Vice

SAINT VICE (Munich / Germany) takes you on a musical road trip. Nighttime, a coastal highway, the lights of the big city fade away in the rear-view mirror. Windows open, wind in your hair. A 70s era rock sound meets organic beats, acoustic guitars, and a striking voice.

This characteristic voice belongs to Nick R. a.k.a. SAINT VICE. When Nick was 16, he wrote his first song for a young love. The love faded, but the passion for music remained. A musical journey began. Over the following decade he was on the road with several bands. During this period, he worked with the renowned American mixing engineer Damien Lewis (Katy Perry, Rihanna). One album, produced in Germany, made it into the German album charts. Nick's work from that time also includes writing film music for cinema and TV.
Life in the fast lane can take its toll! Engines run hot and eventually you run out of gas. In 2015 it was time to refuel and take some time off.

In the fall of 2019, Nick took a guitar down, blew off the dust, and played a couple of chords. Suddenly there was a spark, and a new song in Nick’s head! It was this song that re-lit the fire and Nick’s songwriting talent sprang to life. A new album was in the making, recording sessions began with drummer Tim Buchanan, guitarist Phil Maze and bass player Elias Herb. Together they recorded the SAINT VICE debut “NIGHTTIME HWY”.
