I wrote this song, after my daughter took me out for a Birthday dinner - she asked me a sweet question, "dad, when was the last time you felt butterflies"... having been recently divorced, and living my life in forced isolation... I told her, "I don't remember the last time, but I remember the first time"... I then told her the story of when I was 12 years old, in school, and the new girl in school looked at me and smiled - I dropped my books - ran home, and told Dad about it. That sweet conversation, turned into this song - please enjoy!
