Santiago Abadía is an award-winning composer renowned for his evocative and emotionally resonant scores. Born in Madrid and the grandson of the late film composer Manuel Parada, his music has been featured in films and TV, immersive installations, art exhibitions and videogames, including "Tu Boca en Los Cielos", "Intangibles", "Valencia 2050" and "Creature Stumble". He was a recipient of the Glen Ballard Celebrity Scholarship at Berklee College of Music, served as an assistant professor of guitar and chamber music at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, and was the founder and supervising sound editor at Soundshine Studios ("The Rise of the Synths", "Tour Terral/El Viaje del Viento", "Chabrol l’anticonformiste"…). Among his concert works are "Haiku nº1" in homage to Toru Takemitsu, premiered at the Grand Salle du Palais des Beaux Arts de Bruxelles, "Mirages" for two violas and "Tríptico de la Luz" which won First Prize at the Certamen Llobet Composition Contest 2024. More recently, he has expanded his catalog by releasing solo guitar and piano music—such as "You are the Path", "Valse du Naufrage", "Perseverance in Beauty", "Enigma"—across all major digital stores and streaming platforms.
