“I think that the current age of people in the world experience a lot of negativity which causes a lot of turmoil in the brain which could scar them for life, this also happened to me. I want to create music to help people who have been in pain mentally and give them escape through music to take them out of their reality. This is to have the same impact on another person who was once just like me and give them this escape or release that artists did for me as well.” - Santiago

Santiago (Santi) born as James Olias was born on the 15th of February in 2001 in Epsom, Surrey. At the age of 16, Santiago started developing his music by starting producing at college in the local area. He started recording songs in his bedroom with a few of his friends & equipment that he saved up for overtime. Coming up with more American inspiration musically, Santiago adapted himself to the Trap style in the UK. A few inspirations for him growing up were X (XXXTENTACION), Tory Lanez, Bryson Tiller & more. Coming from Spanish backgrounds also played a part in his musical style expressing the culture of his blood. After spending a couple of years practicing his style and developing his musical ability he decided to chose a name to fit his personality and characteristics, he renamed himself “SANTIAGO”.
