<b><b><i>Sasha Makia Spiller-Reiff aka Sashamon- (sa-sha’-mon) at young age began his musical journey singing along with the ukulele strumming Kupuna (respected elders) while attending elementary school. "in the fifth and sixth grade they gave every student an ukulele. I remember practicing at recess and after school. This is where i first fell in love with music. Molokai is a powerful, musical and magical place. i was a freshman in college at U.H Manoa. This is when i first picked an instrument up and rekindled my study and love of music. So much so i attained a B.A. that i custom designed called "music and the arts". I combined the study of music, art, poetry, and philosophy. When i graduated i started my adventure in to home studio music production. Soon after graduation i moved to kauai in 2000. In hopes of being featured on a surfing film featuring top level Kauai and surfers I shared a few songs. The music was bumped at parties and shared. The music was given by a fan to a fm radio station in hilo. My music became the stations top requested. This encouraged me release the home made demo "one day maybe" commercially. The blessed support of listeners inspires and supports me to continue this journey and dream of creating more joy through music. </i></b></b>
