After a long hiatus Scapegoat Wax is back! The new album “ATOMIC SLAM!” is the first since 2002’s SWAX. The first 2 singles from PT1 “Reckless” and “Evaporate” were released in late 2021 and followed in early 2022 by the next two singles on PT2 “Around Midnight” and “Kick Ya Feet Up”. Eclectic as ever - the original SWAX style may be more suited for the playlist culture that we see prevalent today. <a href="spotify:artist:7gULlMYPd5zbqr7wpvAtsQ" data-name="Marty James">Marty James</a> and Johnny Zunino aka <a href="spotify:artist:6m49YXjgj5cJqosxqfN8rg" data-name="JDeville">JDeville</a> started SWAX in Chico, CA in 1998 the groups debut "Luxurious" was released on GoodVibe Recordings. Soon after, playing live throughout Northern California, Scapegoat was signed to the <a href="spotify:artist:03r4iKL2g2442PT9n2UKsx" data-name="Beastie Boys">Beastie Boys</a> Grand Royal Records label through Virgin Records and released "Okeeblow" in June of 2001. "Aisle 10” (Hello Allison) was featured on MTV2 and played nationally on alternative radio. The song was also featured on the first generation Xbox video games “Jet Set Radio Future” and “Project Gotham Racing” .
