Born as a real human person in Davyhulme, Manchester, England in the 80's, Alan Peter Roberts met another silly person named Batfinks and began to record cover versions of songs by 808 State and Altern-8 in their bedroom studio.
After many years of learning and training themselves to be so cool not to actually release any music, they parted artistically, or partisticalated, to become each a differerent musical attack beast, now from 2 different angles.
Steven became Batfinks and Alan became Jim Noir and the rest is history of course.
After signing to Atlantic Records in 2005 to release his debut masterpiece 'Tower Of Love', Jim went on over the years to write, produce and release a number of multi-layered and melodic, critically acclaimed yet criminally underrrated albums.
These albums are Tower Of Love - Jim Noir (self titled) - Jimmy's Show - Zooper Dooper (EP) - A.M Jazz - Deep Blue View (mini album)
Now as a slightly older and mature man with a better looking face that he's grown into, Jim plans to release some of his best work yet. Including and beyond the upcoming EP project, best of the best collection, 'Jimmy's Show 2', and accompanying mega hit single 'Out Of Sight'. And after that, the World!.....
