Born in the Robin Hood city of Nottingham, United Kingdom.
Scor-Zay-Zee started spitting in 1993. At 15 years old and still at school
Scorz was getting his first radio spins on the legendary Tim Westwood Radio 1 Rap Show.
At 16 he joined a “Super group” of Emcees from Notts. Known as Out Da Ville they
gained notoriety up and down The M1 motorway of the U.K. Collaborating with producers
Like DJ Vadim and The Creators. In 2001 Scorz was voted in the Hip Hop Connection annual readers poll of top ten rappers. Doing songs with artists such as Estelle and producer Joe Buddah
Scorz featured on the Freestyle Frenzy 12” Vinyl release with 12 other legends including Masta Ace,Wordsworth and Canibus. In 2004 Scorz caused national Controversy with his political attack on the British establishment
with his Anthem Great Britain. The song was talked about in parliament,National Newspapers and played twice in one show by DJ Zane Lowe. After this song Scorz stepped back from the music scene to recover from what would be his biggest challenge yet, overcoming and trying to recover from mental illness. In 2008 Scorz landed a part in the Shane Meadows and Paddy Considine film “Le Donk and Scor-Zay-Zee” playing second to lead role as himself in this improvised mockumentary comedy Scorz supported the Arctic Monkeys at Old Trafford and gained new fans from the British film scene.
