Sex-O-Sonique was formed by Michael Gray and Jon Pearn, the duo behind Full Intention. They produced numerous huge club and chart hits, including ‘I Love America’, ‘I’ll Be Waiting’ (with Shena), ‘Spanish Hustle’, and ‘Everybody Loves The Sunshine’ to name but a few.
As Full Intention have worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, like Paloma Faith, Duke, Jamiroquai, Whitney Houston, Barbara Tucker, Mood 2 Swing, Ella Henderson, Brandy, Ultra Nate, Aly-us, Fish go Deep, Inner City & DJ Anna as well as a Grammy nomination for their remix of George Michael’s ‘Amazing’.
Their innovative sound has had a huge impact on the whole scene and influenced so many other notable producers and DJs. Michael Gray and Jon Pearn continue to enjoy success with a string of strong releases for labels like Defected, Simma Black, Off Recordings, Suara, BluFin, Rebirth and their own label Full Intention Recordings.
This Summer, Spanish housemaster David Penn returns with a roof-raising 2023 rework of ‘I Thought It Was You’, as a joint release on London Records and Central Station Records.
