Shannon Donald is a singer/songwriter & vocal coach from Mumbai, India.
Growing up in a complete western contemporary world In India, she’d listen to artists like Stevie Wonder, Sting, The Beatles etc thanks to her Dad’s great taste in music.
It wasn’t long before the inevitable Bollywood took over, where she began touring as a singer with many Indian artists like Salim Sulaiman, Sunidhi Chauhan, Farhan Akhtar & Ayushmann Khurrana. She's also lent her voice to ads for Indian radio & television.
Her strengths include being able to sing both the languages & perform with versatility in genres like Pop, RnB, Soul, Jazz & Rock.
Since 2016 she’s been a vocal coach to many upcoming singers in the city, & started an educative initiative for vocalists called The Vocal Tribe India.
Her original music is pure pop, with lyrics usually leaning towards people, relationships, & how love can translate into happiness, sadness, excitement & confusion.
