Eventually immigrating to Canada, over the past 8 years Shayne Amani has quickly been
making a name for himself at public and private events singing acoustically either as a soloist or as lead
singer with local reggae music bands. He has performed live at various local live music events and his
music has been regularly promoted and played on several Toronto area radio stations. In fact, Shayne
Amani’s 2018 track which was called “Weak Fence” became somewhat of a dancehall party anthem as
many Jamaican music DJ selectors have played this song on repeat over the past year and several
well-known G987 FM and Vibe 105.5 radio and local Jamaican DJ /selectors have helped propel that
song and the name Shayne Amani into one that is known within the Jamaican dancehall and reggae
community. His latest single” Demise “is the first release from his most recent EP entitled “State of
Mind” and is slowly gaining buzz since being released. Shayne Amani is certainly
one to watch for as one of the most highly favored artists in the Canadian and International reggae
music scene.
