Dream pop group Shimmering Stars "filter the dark undertones of ‘50s and ‘60s influences like Del Shannon and Phil Spector through a modern lens to create a haunting, poignant tone that sounds equal parts familiar and fresh." The band was formed in spring 2010 after drawing inspiration from vintage Everly Brothers concert footage. Shimmering Stars released their debut album 'Violent Harts' on Hardly Art & Almost Musique in 2011, followed by their sophomore album 'Bedrooms of the Nation' in 2014, a darker, more experimental project. 'Psychedelia Dystopic,' Shimmering Stars' third full-length, will be released in 2025.
