Showoff, hailing from the musical heart of Chicago, is an alternative rock powerhouse that blends punk and pop music, emerged in the late -1990s. Having quickly garnered attention with their infectious melodies and heartfelt lyrics, Showoff released their self-titled release in 1997 under Maverick Records (Warner Bros), featuring the single “Falling Star” that reached #36 on the Billboard Rock Charts. The group reunited for 2006's “Waiting For You” EP, followed by “Wish You Were Her” in 2015, “Midwest Side Story'' in 2017, and in 2024 released "Haverstraw," their debut on Manic Kat Records. Showoff is characterized by an authentic sound and a devoted fanbase. With an energetic stage presence and a commitment to their roots, they remain an unstoppable force in the Midwest music scene.
