‘Ski Saigon Sees the Albatross’ is the debut album by Ski Saigon (London, England). It follows ‘Brings the Storm Cloud EP’, released by Art is Hard Records in 2016 as a 32-page book detailing the remarkable history of the world’s first indoor ski slope from which the band takes its name. ‘Sees the Albatross’ finds the band dreaming of polar exploration, the Himalayas, deep water, blue water and is the first release by Too Good To Be True Records (Brest, France). A limited edition riso print photo zine accompanies the release, available via Too Good To Be True.
“All was going well for Ski Saigon until the cursed bird landed on the forecastle. Presently, clement weather ceased and monsters of the deep made themselves known. In the dark shadows surrounding the vessel, all saw their own worst fears reflected.”
Ski Saigon is James A, Nick D, Rhys G, Laura K and Jake M.
