Slash Ladat Biography:
Recording Power house artist Dwayne Knight aka Slash Ladat
was born on March 19, 1982. He grew up in the dynamic and heavily
populated community of Portmore, just outside of Kingston Jamaica.
A community that nurtured his talents at local events, and the first audience
to crown Slash Ladat a homegrown celebrity.
Equipped with new material 2021 should see Slash Ladat as a potent force
on the dancehall landscape.
A Global Pandemic has not slowed down the self-motivated artist and he's
on a mission to accomplish his musical goals.
Currently. Slash Ladat is promoting tunes such as Explosion on the Night
Fever Riddim, produced by Eye Way Records, and released on February
21, 2020, Every moment, produced by Enshae O. Reid on the DTED
riddim it's release date is set for January 9, 2021, and The Best released
on October 23, 2020 for producers Bright Nations Records.
The artist has gotten good feedback on social media for the track
Explosion, and this has given him the confidence for bigger and better
things to come.
He is inspired by two big names in the dancehall industry Vybz Kartel and
Bounty Killer. Dancehall icons Vybz Kartel and Bounty Killer have really
inspired Slash Ladat,and he rates their musical skills and the work they put
in the music business.
Meanwhile, the artist said he took a break from the music scene to focus on
his family and now he's back with a vengeance.
He wants to take back his rightful place in the dancehall landscape
