Born in Pigg’s Peak, Eswatini, Sleek Ace is a self-made independent musician, producer, and audio engineer blending Hip Hop, Afro-inspired rhythms, Dancehall influence, and emotional storytelling. Inspired by Timbaland and OneRepublic’s “Apologize” at age 11, he began writing music as a form of expression during his childhood.

Formerly known as “Ace Kid,” he built his early reputation through local performances and self-recorded music before evolving into a full producer and recording artist through years of hands-on studio experience. His journey later led him to collaborate with award-winning artist Lyrikal Busta on the hit single “Dance For Mi,” which won Song of the Year at the MTN SWAMAs in 2017, while its music video later earned Best Music Video in 2018.

After years of growth, setbacks, and reinvention, Sleek Ace returned stronger with the 2024 release “Gawulubheke.” In 2025, he signed with Johannesburg-based independent label ePlatini Studios before later returning to full independence, continuing to create with a focus on freedom, ownership, and authenticity.
