Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, Snakeblade was formed as a one-man band/escapist project while the entire world quarantined. Locked in his bedroom, Redston funneled all his energy into crafting a stellar debut EP: The Kingdom. Every song off the 2020 release exploded with youthful rage, delivering a pummelling of riffs, blastbeats, and shrieking vocals. Receiving high praise from the likes of Exclaim! and Toilet ov Hell Snakeblade quickly gained a following that appreciated the project's innovation and fantasy elements. Now on his second effort, Redston delves into bold new territory adding orchestral and electro elements to the blackened-thrashy chaos. Zeroing in on an all-time favorite series, Redston also draws on inspiration from Game of Thrones for the lyrical themes of his first full-length album. Deeply nerdy and deeply emotional - this is: The Curse.
