A Cardiff based psychedelic collective with 4 core members and 3 floating members. We blend all sorts of guitars, vintage synths and organs, electronics and sound effects, real drums, percussion, (including household items) and electronic beats. The lyrics are sometimes cryptic and surreal but always grounded in reality.
"Waltz of the Weekend" is our 8th and most ambitious album to date.
The band met during a full moon while searching for Wendigos, Sasquatches and meteor fragments in the Garwnant Forest Centre near Merthyr Tydfil in South Wales. We just happened to all be out that night on a similiar mission and bumped into each other. We didn't know each other before that. We know it seems ridiculous that we would meet like that, then realize we all had a passion for psychedelic music, then realise we all played instruments, then form a band that has so far released 8 albums. But hey, that's the way it happened. It really makes you think. Yes. It really does.
Anyway, that very night, we swore a very solemn faced blood oath to try to create the most beautiful, uncanny, intricate, magic dust covered, magic realist psychedelic music possible, that would reverberate around the night sky and off into the outer reaches of the solar system and beyond. A bit over the top, but we committed to this on pain of death, and we are stuck with it.
