Soft Powder

Initially serving as a means of escapism, Soft Powder is the Shanghai-based solo project of Andy Szetho. Originally from Australia and conceived within the confines of his Melbourne bedroom, Soft Powder’s blend of 80s inspired dream pop finds refuge in a place of melancholy and wonder.

After the release of his debut EP ‘Shangri-La’ in 2018, his sophomore EP &#39;Faber Ria&#39; in 2019, and his debut album ‘Somewhere Like Paradise’ in 2022, Soft Powder has been honing in on his craft as a producer and songwriter, as well as playing a string of live shows at iconic Melbourne venues such as the Northcote Social Club, The Gasometer Hotel and The Workers Club. Having recently supported <a href="spotify:artist:65NTbYBafQYJ807dK19MCU" data-name="Paradise Club">Paradise Club</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3zyLtDE21BNWJagUl4HWzu" data-name="Pinkish Blu">Pinkish Blu</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6bTkIQfvR8nlRCHLAvbfOD" data-name="EGOISM">EGOISM</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:00BZcQJXuUSMVEB9FVqgUl" data-name="PLANET">PLANET</a>, as well as a recent tour of China and a sold out EP launch, Soft Powder is ready to expand his live show and to explore new territory.
