One of the early monikers used by legendary drum'n'bass producer Danny Breaks, Sonz of a Loop da Loop Era was a successful act on Suburban Base Records while the label was rising to prominence in the early '90s as one of the first drum'n'bass labels to break out of the underground. As Sonz of a Loop da Loop Era, Breaks released one full-length album, Flowers in My Garden (Suburban Base, 1994), one of the genre's first long-players. Sonz of a Loop da Loop Era features elements of Breaks' hardcore beginnings as well as the drum'n'bass sound he was helping pioneer at the time. By the mid-'90s, Breaks had put the moniker to rest and was focusing on his own label, Droppin' Science, recording primarily under his own name. ~ Jason Birchmeier, Rovi
