At the crossroads between electronic, pop and R&B, <a href="spotify:artist:0Bx4jpot6hc7oUbu2SbtJ1" data-name="Sôra">Sôra</a> is a contemporary jazz influenced singer, songwriter and producer who must be followed closely. Her distinctive, warm chilled yet powerful voice merges with pleasant harmonies throughout her songs.
Daughter of a British mother and a French father, <a href="spotify:artist:0Bx4jpot6hc7oUbu2SbtJ1" data-name="Sôra">Sôra</a> also inherits from her Spanish grand-mother and Pakistani grandfather.
End of 2018, Sôra released her first EP «<a href="spotify:album:3iByVaX3kEoEiEad8DgMlC" data-name="Number One">Number One</a>» that reached over 1,5 millions streams. Later on, she delivered the single «<a href="spotify:album:3SLvLJ5buzoDJU5dW6pV5c" data-name="Unchained">Unchained</a>» that reached over 700k streams. January 2020 <a href="spotify:artist:0Bx4jpot6hc7oUbu2SbtJ1" data-name="Sôra">Sôra</a> drops her first album : <a href="spotify:album:4EC1XsCRNQZqbtbM0WCJsp" data-name="Long life to Phil">Long life to Phil</a>, a tribute to life and to her father. "In a lifetime, we often feel like we have many lives". This album, is part of a mourning process for the death of her father (who was called Philippe), aiming to overcome difficult times with optimism and love.
Now based in Montreal, the independent artist is on a release journey. More to come very soon.
