Talk2Strangers grew up singing in a gospel choir in Southern Illinois & is heavily influenced by a mixture of 90s R&B, HipHop, & Traditional Americana. Although it transcends any one genre, the music is held together by an arrestingly soulful voice & confessional lyrics that are deeply personal, yet universally healing. Like a good friend who holds up a mirror, each song hits you with a transparency, but leaves you with a warmth that feels like you’re gonna be ok. Talk2Strangers makes music to build beloved community; & encourages people to sing, dance, & to make new friends at their shows.
