After their electro-pop beginnings, Stain of Light took a more folk-oriented turn on their second EP (Simple Things 2023). The band now fully embraces this direction with a self-titled debut album, crafting folk-pop anthems through delicate acoustic guitar arpeggios and soaring vocal harmonies, as heard on their first single, Stay. Across the album’s 11 tracks, everything feels organic, close to a live performance, and above all, incredibly catchy.
