Steve Bach is having a remarkable career as a composer, arranger, pianist, keyboardist and musical director. He has been an important asset to a long list of major artists in a very wide variety of genres, showing that he can be consistently creative in many different idioms while always writing and performing in his own individual voice. With the release of several new projects, the focus is back on his own colorful music.
Steve is a fan of many musical genres. His original music often crosses over styles and features elements of pop, jazz, classical, ethnic and electronic music.
He has recorded many CDs as a leader for various record labels.
Two releases, More Than A Dream and City Magic, reached the top 20 on Billboard’s Contemporary Jazz chart.
More recently he has started recording and releasing singles: Microwave Popcorn (Bach Remix), Wichita Lineman (2023), and Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence (a duet with Olivier Milchberg, 2023)
In 2013 Steve collaborated as a composer with Nick Littlemore and Luke Steele, the co-founders of Empire Of The Sun. Two of their songs were recorded by the band. “Alive” reached #1 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play Songs Chart, becoming one of the biggest hits in the pop music world in 2013. Steve was nominated for the prestigious APRA Award for best pop song.
Steve toured extensively as a Musical Director for Cirque du Soleil.
Today Steve continues to actively record, perform and produce his own music.
