Steve started his musical career at 14 by forming a band. After leaving school he worked as an assistant sound engineer at CTS studios London on films like Let It Be, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Lindsay Anderson's If and Husbands with John Cassavetes.
In the 70s he played in various bands in Germany before moving to Sweden where he started a music production company and established himself as one of the top composers for advertising & TV production in Scandinavia.
In 85 he co-founded the Match Music label (now owned by Universal) before moving back to London in 88 where he continued to compose/produce for Match as well as commissions like the 5.40 ITN News theme. In 2008, ‘London The Musical’ premiered in Stockholm featuring Steve's music.
These days he splits his time between Europe and Antigua where he writes/produces for Addictive Tracks, a new production music label created by Steve in 2014.
Over the years Steve has written over 2000 production music titles and his music has been included in countless international TV & film productions such as: Dix Pour Cent/Call My Agent, La Casa De Papel/Money Heist, Taken 2, Friends, The Inbetweeners Movie, Miss Congeniality 2, The Last Tycoon, Saturday Night Live, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, The Oprah Winfrey Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Masterchef, Midsomer Murders, Little Britain, Law & Order, Coronation Street, Miranda, Narcos: Mexico, RuPaul’s Drag Race, The Simpsons
