Strange Advance started life in 1980 in Vancouver B.C. based on the songwriting partnership of Darryl Kromm and Drew Arnott. After being discovered by producer Bruce Fairbairn (with the help of Bryan Adams) bassist Paul Iverson joined the band and they recorded their first album Worlds Away. After some success (gold record) they carried on and recorded their second album 2WO, third record The Distance Between and finally, their fourth album '4' in 2022. They were nominated for 2 Junos and are currently touring Canada and planning a new record.
