Rebranding themselves as Stranger Club in 2022, the four-piece band from Kentucky are certainly no strangers to the scene. Originally performing under the name Refractions, they’ve recorded music together since they were in middle school. The original band members - Adam Johnson, (vocals), Devon O’Dell (bass), and Taylor Lin (guitar), brought in Chaz Crawford (guitar); spawning the distinct, evocative music they are now known for. Never wanting to sit in the same sounds for too long, they blend the worlds of glitch-pop, r&b, and rock. Wonderfully and intricately diverse, they produce music that contains every intoxicating element required to grab the attention of audiences.
Their song Tulips has garnered close to two-million streams on Spotify alone and is proof that Stranger Club is onto something new and invigorating. With a signature sound of slamming drums and buttery guitar leads, on top of their already infectious choruses, Stranger Club prioritizes making music with authenticity, originality, and friendship at it’s heart.
Their latest song “dumb” is out now. The fourth song into this new album cycle shows that they’re always learning, and just now getting started.
don’t be a stranger. join the club.
