Alternative folk singer-songwriter Straw Lim captivates listeners with her evocative multilingual storytelling and themes of social consciousness. In 2019, she released her debut album Excursion (2019)–a collection of songs inspired by her backpacking adventures, produced alongside Dae Kim. Having travelled to over 50 countries, she discovered that Malaysia is where her heart belongs. Now based in Kota Kinabalu, she delves into the intersection of art, humanity, and the environment while preparing for the release of her second album in 2025.
