Formed in 2009, Russian five-piece metal band Sunless Rise managed to gather the huge fanbase from scratch with the release of their promo EP <a href="spotify:album:4uFOdKFY3sOsZxidF1U0dK" data-name="Sunless Rise">Sunless Rise</a>. After EP, the band surprisingly took a long hiatus — only to reunite and release their debut full length record <a href="spotify:album:3i94S4VTky5W2T3KHedW1M" data-name="Unrevealed">Unrevealed</a> in 2015. The record was massively supported by metalheads all over the globe: over a 1000 CD copies were sold via band's sources, whilst the band jumped into the Japanese metal chart by Burrn Magazine in 2016.
Album's recognition resulted in the release of <a href="spotify:album:7mn70NWYa77LrZIi520IrO" data-name="Re-Revealed EP (Fatal FE Remix)">Re-Revealed EP (Fatal FE Remix)</a> and <a href="spotify:album:64zD4XbxuQRhK5YZQPseYc" data-name="Eidolon 1984 (Fatal FE Remix)">Eidolon 1984 (Fatal FE Remix)</a> in 2016, and the band's first live appearance in Japan, where Sunless Rise shared the stage with <a href="spotify:artist:25Wy8eXgLspPsyubb2pspP" data-name="Serenity In Murder">Serenity In Murder</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7vdH23uIvKDe36XYLQZTeH" data-name="Shade Empire">Shade Empire</a> in 2017 and presented new single <a href="spotify:album:1ZDB8XX6u6HUnT996WjYHO" data-name="Flywheel">Flywheel</a> - the most streamed band's song to date, according to Spotify. While working on the second album, the band heavily experimented with their sound, what can be noticed on <a href="spotify:album:5nwmOpP5iSpk11Y6kIsyY6" data-name="Destroy. Rebuild">Destroy. Rebuild</a> (2018) and <a href="spotify:album:5j1SIpOzkYHL8mTCsF7cgH" data-name="Power Break">Power Break</a> (2019).
In November 2019, Sunless Rise released their 12-track 2nd long player <a href="spotify:album:4PlTXP9k4L9UDWRDxSqNe5" data-name="Ultimacy">Ultimacy</a> and did their first European Tour in support of the new record.
