Electro swing project with vintage jazz influences and a positive vibe. Platinum selling Danish producer Per Ebdrup with vocalists <a href="spotify:artist:31ufWigY0fDQ8p8EJxvaGH" data-name="Karina Kappel">Karina Kappel</a> and most recently <a href="spotify:artist:6D145SsRqHrq77RlAFmeU9" data-name="LOUQ">LOUQ</a>. The debut album "Electro Swing Republic" was largely sample based and released early in 2011 by <a href="spotify:playlist:0qZRUQiNjhtIvPxmtPU9nF" data-name="This Is Freshly Squeezed">This Is Freshly Squeezed</a>.
The album second "Midnight Calling" was released in 2012. The tracks on this album are all original compositions written and performed by Swing Republic and additional musicians. Produced and mixed by Per Ebdrup. Co-produced and Co-mixed by Jakob Sejer-Nielsen.
The third album "Let's Misbehave" (Oct 2015) follows the pattern set by the first 2 albums, mixing up both samples and vocals combined with electronic elements. There followed a series of EPs leading to a "Best Of" compilation album.
Swing Republic aims to blend the spirituality and emotional expression of the past with the electronic technology of the future. "Emotional Technology" is one of the leading principles in the approach to the musical landscapes and cities of Swing Republic.
