Sybarite Energy is a heavy, psychedelic studio project from California and the inner reaches of the ever expanding consciousness, featuring Bob Balch, guitarist of Fu Manchu, Big Scenic Nowhere and Yawning Balch; Paul Della Pelle, former drummer for Jello Biafra and space rocker Helios Creed; Dennis Brower, guitarist, singer, and song writer; and vocalists Rachel Santa Cruz and Molly Head. With elements of metal, psychedelia, and funk, “Loved By Few Hated By Many” is the first studio album from Sybarite Energy with more on the way.
“I’ve been teaching Dennis for 14 years. We reached a point two years ago when he started showing me riffs he had been writing using material from our lessons. I loved them, so we started demoing them in GarageBand. He brought in a network of very talented musicians from his local area to complete the album, and I couldn’t be prouder.
