Sym Jym is a young composer from Brussels, Belgium.
Music has always been his passion starting at the age of 5 with violin, and later on with drums and piano. His major influences are Frédéric Chopin, Ryuichi Sakamoto, João Gilberto and Radiohead.​
While being involved in musical band projects as keyboards/piano player or arranger for some time, Sym Jym gradually progressed in his composition journey, accumulating ideas, loops, melodies and endless inspirations. Some of those ideas became tracks, some others were lost in his mind, drafted somewhere on a piece of paper.
In 2018, he released his first piano solo EP – Waves - listened in many countries.
In october 2023, his new EP called ECLIPSE is released as a continuity of the first project.
The musical atmosphere of Sym Jym is characterized by a perfect dose of harmony, sensibility, and melancholy. This captivating style is close to minimalism and modern classical music bringing to a world full of imagery. Sym Jym is also exploring another composition journey: film scoring and original soundtrack to bring emotions and colors to stories... thanks to music.
