A riot-grrrl-new-wave band 2013-2019.

Formed at a talent show in high school, T-Rextasy soon found themselves playing the hallowed halls of long since shuttered Brooklyn DIY spaces like Shea Stadium and Silent Barn. The &#34;hyper-verbal rock&#39;n&#39;roll goddesses&#34; (Rolling Stone) caught the ear of Father/Daughter and Miscreant Records who co-released their debut record, Jurassic Punk, in 2016.

They then made it their mission to bring their signature brand of “fun rock&#34;- MTV deemed them trailblazers of the genre- across America on tour, hitting the road as brazen 20 year olds with just learning permits to their names (there may or may not have been a panic attack at a Floridian grocery store parking lot, due to having driven all the way down to Florida without knowing how to drive.) Iowa, North Dakota, Montana…you name it, they played there.

T-Rextasy had the honor of touring nationally with <a href="spotify:artist:33yje3hgpNfdXpqdJQcrt9" data-name="Mannequin Pussy">Mannequin Pussy</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:3oqgxdumaZZ5hOt2ykwYTQ" data-name="Free Cake For Every Creature">Free Cake For Every Creature</a>. They also shared stages with bands such as <a href="spotify:artist:3BYXi96LqI8TwNljFKE0DZ" data-name="Girlpool">Girlpool</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3zmmBJseZelpVEHj8S6Dek" data-name="The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart">The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7l8uFATeRemkWEA8Gn15YC" data-name="Downtown Boys">Downtown Boys</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0x4xCoWaOFd3WsKarzaxnW" data-name="Frankie Cosmos">Frankie Cosmos</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4bKniuCGFic42eaNWK34Jq" data-name="Shannon Shaw">Shannon Shaw</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:6yzuBFtT6dK2aQMZJZtcB1" data-name="Dehd">Dehd</a>.

One time they were in Texas at a party, on a balcony, with some other bands. Somebody said: “We are here, getting to play music and getting to play with other musicians we look up to. We are so lucky.”
