Taichi Chishaki is a composer, pianist from Tokyo, Japan. He started playing the piano at the age of 6. When he was young, he had many opportunities to come into contact with Japanese traditional music through "Noh" (a form of Japanese traditional theater) which his grandfather performed. He started composing classical music at the age of 18 and entered Tokyo University of the Arts. In college, he produced contemporary classical music and was also involved in film music. He can write anything from piano pieces to orchestral pieces. From 2021, he started releasing his own piano pieces on various music platforms. In composing, he places the most importance on simple melodies and sound reverberations, and specializes in works that incorporate classical music composition methods. In 2023, "Harmonism I" was released under the label of "1631 Recordings". He is influenced by L.V.Beethoven, D.Shostakovich, and Ryuichi Sakamoto.
