Grammy-Nominated, Broadway Actress, and Indie Artist is known for her tone and dominating stage presence. Davis, known as the muse & protégé of Prince, gained notoriety for co-writing their Grammy-nominated duet "Beautiful, Loved, and Blessed." A graduate of University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music, Davis recently starred as Sarah Vaughn in “Sarah Sings a Love Story” (Crossroads Theatre), with recent appearances on NBC’s “The Voice,” debuting in the first national tour of “Motown, the Musical,” and performing in numerous Tyler Perry/LionsGate productions. Davis has commercially released two independent albums, “I Am the Storm” and “My Name is Tamar” via her company Syren Music Group. Tamar is currently on tour with the Broadway touring production of "A Night with Janis Joplin." For her community endeavors, Tamar has partnered with other notable brands to produce an annual youth College, Career and Empowerment Summit as an edutainment initiative with her artistic startup, The Syren Arts Academy,
