Tegan Northwood is a singer, songwriter and music producer from NSW, Australia. She fuses electronic instrumentation with vocals, guitars and field recordings into a rich, dense landscape of dream pop + downtempo electronica.
Nature, love, sense of place and home are major themes running throughout Tegan's music.
She's been actively making music since 1995 and previously produced and released three albums and one collaborative environmental soundscape album with Shane Fahey of Scattered Order and Social Interiors (based on recordings from the Kioloa/Murramarang region of the NSW south coast). These are still available on (now inactive) Sydney label Endgame Records.
Tegan's latest release is the independently released EP "Wherever You Are", created while travelling around the UK and Europe during 2018, and released the following year. Now back in Australia, a new single is due out in June 2021.
