Formed in 1997 in Brownsville, Texas, Tejano Boys is a family-driven conjunto band that blends tradition, heart, and a deep love for the music of their roots. The band was founded by the late Joe Anzaldua III (RIP), an advocate and avid supporter of conjunto music, alongside his son Oscar Anzaldua (lead vocals and bajo sexto) and grandson Rick Garza Jr (accordion).

With three generations of music enthusiasts in the lineup, the Tejano Boys are committed to preserving conjunto music's rich history while infusing their unique energy and passion into every performance. Their dynamic sound is rooted in family ties and a shared mission to keep the spirit of conjunto music alive for future generations.

In 2016, they were joined by the dynamic and energetic drummer Eric Garza, and in 2017 by their current gifted and accomplished bass player, Steve Muniz. Over the years, the band has released eight albums and continues to captivate audiences with their music. Their newly released single, Míranos Ahora, showcases their dedication to keeping conjunto music thriving.

No matter the crowd size, the Tejano Boys deliver an energy-filled performance that keeps audiences engaged and the spirit of conjunto music alive. Through their heartfelt performances, they honor the legacy of those who paved the way for the genre while ensuring its continued vibrancy. For the Anzaldua family, music isn’t just about performance; it’s about connection, culture, and the bond that ties them together.
