The Beale Street Sheiks was the name used by Memphis musicians Frank Stokes and Dan Sane for their blues duo on Paramount Records releases from sessions held in 1927 and 1929. It is likely that they also used this moniker in the field, but they did not employ it on the duo records they made for Victor. ~ Uncle Dave Lewis, Rovi
