Vocalist Topher Talley, bassist Dan Mineart, drummer Ryan Seaman, and guitarists John Kendall Royston and Chris McPeters formed the band in 2007, and a self-released EP appeared before the year was up. Doghouse Records took note of the group’s potential and signed them in 2008, and the Bigger Lights spent much of the following two years on tour, sharing stages with emo-influenced groups like the Honorary Title and Hey Monday. After releasing a second EP, Fiction Fever, in 2009, the Bigger Lights made their full-length debut with an eponymous release in March 2010. ~ Andrew Leahey, Rovi
