Born and raised in the mountains outside of Boulder, Colorado, this sister sibling duo is made up of Samantha and Sara Emmitt; two spunky mountain women with callused feet and fingertips from barefoot wandering and late night guitar picking. The sisters began playing together as a duo in 2016, and quickly found that each of their voices offered a perfect complement to the other, and they settled right into the magic “sibling harmonies” as they sang on each other’s songs.
Moon Over Mountains is their first album together, made up of a mix of songs written by each of the sisters and recorded at the Star House in Boulder, Colorado.
