Hailing from sunny Torbaydos (Paignton, Devon), The Emporiums are bringing a breathe of fresh air into UK indie rock.
Inspired by a broad church of groups from 70’s punk bands such as The Clash, The Damned and The Jam, via The Smiths to the 90’s Madchester and Britpop scene with bands like The Stone Roses, Oasis and Blur, the 4-piece deliver jangly guitar rhythms and soulful vocals by Dominic Clark, atmospheric yet driven melodies by Ryan Dove on lead guitar, bouncy basslines packed full of groove and energetic and swing infused drum rhythms by Cameron Westwood to every audience.
Currently the band are on a quest to conquer Devon’s local music scene by taking every opportunity to perform live, gearing up to release their first EP soon…
