A five-piece metal band based out of El Paso, Texas. Formed originally in 2010 under the name Ocean Lies Ahead, the band reintroduced itself as The Grave Aesthetic with the debut of their latest, self-produced EP 'Quietus', released back in April 2017. Soon after the release of 'Quietus', The Grave Aesthetic was selected to represent their community and local music scene for the second time at the annual Vans Warped Tour music festival held in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Spurred by their newfound identity and sound, The Grave Aesthetic promptly immersed itself into the fast-growing music scene of the Southwest, touring through much of East Texas in the Summer of 2017. The Grave Aesthetic has shared the stage with reputable metal bands including The Convalescence (Toledo, OH), Make Them Suffer (Perth, Australia), Dayshell (Southern California), Silent Planet (Azusa, CA) and Eyes Set to Kill (Tempe, AZ).
