The Guest and the Host

The Guest and the Host is the moniker of music producer Andrew Heringer.

He currently lives in the California Bay Area and makes music from his home studio.

Andrew helped form, produce &amp; share vocal duties of the indie band <a href="spotify:artist:5euJsEvfrlfhYDorMR40OF" data-name="Milo Greene">Milo Greene</a>.

The 2022 album “Songs from Mirror Wall” was a tribute to the rustic cabin in Beachwood Canyon that Heringer transformed into a recording studio from 2016 to 2022. This collection of songs were initially released 1 by 1 &amp; were never intended to be an album. When Heringer decided to leave Los Angeles &amp; move back to Northern California in early 2022, the idea of honoring the time at Mirror Wall with this group of songs took shape. 


During the pandemic of 2020, Heringer started creating ambient music under the moniker <a href="spotify:artist:1wuPfTKt5zzbZixeifF5DO" data-name="Sound Bath">Sound Bath</a>. This music became an experiment in minimalism &amp; a soundtrack for sleep, meditation &amp; emotional regulation.
