Formed in Los Angeles, CA in late 2012, The Heavy Heavy Hearts are best described as the rock'n'roll version of fighting a bear. Big, bold, and not afraid to tell you the whole story, The Heavy Heavy Hearts made a big splash right away, with songs like "Dirty Lies" and "Bottom of the Bottle" being featured on the hit TV show Shameless, and in feature films like Bad Country and AntMan.
In late 2013, The Heavy Heavy Hearts relocated to Nashville, TN and quickly made a name for themselves in the South. In 2015, the band went on hiatus. Drummer Ralph Alexander joined Nick Valensi (The Strokes) and his new band CRX. Ralph also would go on to form a duo with Indio Downey, son of Robert Downey Jr., referee to as The Dose, and currently is on tour with Nu Metal artist, Poppy. Lead Singer and guitarist Beau James released two solo albums, "Indigo Road" and "Landmarks" to universal acclaim. Bassist Clark Singleton can be found mosts nights on tour or in Nashville's world famous Broadway honky-tonks, amongst some of the planet's best musicians. Lead Guitarist Anthony Mancini can be found playing in blues clubs around Nashville.
In 2019, The Heavy Heavy Hearts returned to the studio to record a new 7 song EP. In February of 2020, they released the first single entitled “White Lightning”. The yet-to-be-named EP is set to be released in its entirety later this year.
